** CYTORI THERAPEUTICS INC, $2.49, up 5 pct (9:56 a.m. ET)

Roth Capital Partners reinstated its "buy" rating on the medical device maker's stock with a $10 price target, saying positive data from the trials on Cytori's cell therapy for chronic ischemic heart failure would boost its U.S. profile.

Do they know positive data is forthcoming? :nice:

Very conservative re-initiation report-

Completely ignores product sales from the Nippon game changer.. is OK I guess.

Board moderator and Site-owner. I still regret the day I started analysing the prospects of MacroPore (now Cytori) back in 2004- a left-over from the tech-bubble at that time from the century change in my portfolio- and became addicted to Cytori´s fat cell technology.

In Roth's coverage they laid out the possibility of BARDA Celution purchases in the hundreds of millions which to me seemed to indicate the higher priced celution vs the new smaller and cheaper version which they are basically financing with the BARDA contract..

Anyone else notice this and find it strange ?

I just glanced at it and did not notice.

Cannot imagine that though. The 1400 clinics in the US would be 21 Mio I guess if you take a 15K $ price tag. Plus the military and their field kits? All could add up. Accenture expects the number of clinics in the US also to double until 2015

Completely agree on the increased number of clinics.

I see it happening all around me. Both hospitals and doctors are doing it.
Cheaper cost with same quality in most cases.
