Above is a translation of an article about a presentation by CYTX to the Royal Spanish Football Federation concerning regenerative medicine. The medical heads for the Spanish national side were there. This is comparable to CYTX making a presentation as expert to the NFL, NBA & MLB. Soccer is the worlds most popular game, so if europe pushes ahead then the USA market will open up relatively quickly. Regenerative medicine in the sports injury market (and not only) is huge. Obviously CYTX is looking at it .......... how they going to access it is the multimillion dollar question?

Regenexx probably has a good product but I am not sure that it's a better product than the Celution output. The use of minimally processed ADRC falls quite clearly in my mind, into the practice of medicine area, but we will still need trials to get reimbursement. Surely european socialised medicine along with some very wealthy football clubs with highly valuable assets at risk (injured palyers) should be able to come up with some sort of trial to push things along.

Too many indications to go it alone ...... they need to partner some indications soon.

Rong, I agree the # of indications is part of the problem. They NEED help. But, The right help........ Meaning the # of companies that would like to "Absorb" Cytori is probably off the charts. BUT evidently the # of companies that would like to work with Cytori is Minimal.

I think you are right John- The Celution output certainly will beat Centeno´s procedure, especially that procedure is mainly geared towards cartilage.
I do have to remind that Cytori has added claims now for :

Deficiencies or injury to: skin, fat, muscle and fascia

Tissue Ischemia

The importance of that I wrote down in the Milestones article- whereby its interesting to note, that tissue ischemia would in the opinion of Calhoun to allow for treatment of bone and cartelage as part of the muscoloskeletal system too :cheer:
I wrote CC a rather harsh mail with questions on all these claims last week and their MEANING of course!!!! Since we-as shareholders and owners of the Company- really dont know all that much- the usual problem with Cytori- Investor Communications
Anyway- my thinking is that BOTH claims are TOOL claims on the Celution GP machine (separate function as the general CRS version- GP is for surgical claims) and the burning question is- are they - that is the unknown partner(s) who developed these apps and Cytori want to market that before they get specific therapeutic claims or even after that- i.e after those applications are on the DRG list.

Those burning questions I asked CC - but he did not respond until yet- had to give a presentation in Spain apparently. lol :woohoo:

Board moderator and Site-owner. I still regret the day I started analysing the prospects of MacroPore (now Cytori) back in 2004- a left-over from the tech-bubble at that time from the century change in my portfolio- and became addicted to Cytori´s fat cell technology.
