Board moderator and Site-owner. I still regret the day I started analysing the prospects of MacroPore (now Cytori) back in 2004- a left-over from the tech-bubble at that time from the century change in my portfolio- and became addicted to Cytori´s fat cell technology.

The powerpoint presentation in PDF format has been released already and looks quite interesting.

I already took out the first two images for the

1. pipeline- from which the bone repair clinic has been removed  -but not for long I presume.

2. More detail on the Habeo clinic and which patients/disorders are targeted..

Of course the full PDF can be reviewed also and is attached..

Fas, I find it interesting that for scleroderma, the Company is apparently planning for an off-the-shelf drug to replace or supplement the HABEO therapy - am I interpreting that correctly and does it make sense to you??

Right. So a backup if scleroderma Phase 3 failure or potential for ongoing improvements if scleroderma Phase 3 approval. Only time will tell. I also find it interesting that it's not under Habeo, but rather their new TM.

No- I do not think it is a back-up.

From the time (5 years ago) when I looked closely at the disorder (and related disorders) , I remember that the more "serious" forms effect different body parts and organs- mainly the lungs i.e. form fibrotic tissue around the lungs etc, which slowly but surely cut off the oxygen supply through blockage of the blood flow.

Assuming that the liposomal technology is thought to keep the "vesicles" at the site of (chronic) injury its better to use the vesicles than the cells obviously since the cells would wonder thru the whole body and be less effective.

Anyway- I will look at my "old" write-up and put it back online today or tomorrow.

Interesting, Fas -- your theory would explain why it's not under the hand treatment franchise.

In a recent email from Tiago, it does not appear to be a back up.

It is clear that CYTX needs a partner-able platform to sustain and grow. Celution system along is not enough to grow the company. Now, we are a drug company.

Time for parabolic upward move?!

That was always a concern for me with the IV approach.
Now that they may be able to target specific organs the IV approach has legs imho (assuming they can make do what they want it to do)
This would essentially mean they would "own" the scleroderma market and turn it into a manageable chronic type disease vs a progressive, then fatal one.
Retreatment has been a Hedrick topic for some time now.

Franshei/HF, thanks for the comparison to the "Old Chuck" - he had some very positive and excellent posts before the old Yahoo MB collapsed.

This is a puzzle:

Liposomal doxo and liposomal docetaxel are all lyophilized (freeze dry) products) they would be reconstituted with normal saline, before iv injection. The reconstituted product would represents liposomal encapsulation of the drugs (before freeze dry and then after reconstitution).

For Hedrick's cell free, off the shelf regenerative medicine (druggable form, probably by iv route), what active ingredients would they be, if the encapsulated drug product would be lyophilized.

Alternatively, there could be two clinical vials (as in the case of mitoextra that I worked on, using Jannssen's exceptients ) - one is the biological active ingredient/s and the other vial is the liposomal vehicle (with tissue or organ targetting properties); they would be mixed before injection.

Puzzling for me.
