Very interesting for all CYTX longs. :cheer:

Last week friday (8/24) I had a chat with Tom B. for a small hour or so Very enjoyable as always- but "always" has been quite a long time back (>1 year), since I prefer contact with fellow-investors more than with CYTX management/IR.
Reason being- I dont get anything worthwhile out of these discussions normally. This time though it was different in just one context: a new generation Celution developed at Callan Road (not by Olympus), which Tom feels will be the work-horse for Cytori going forward. So not the 800 device or Celution One, no a new device- desktop size, low cost (C-1 is very expensive) to manufacture, with a performance that matches Celution One or even is slightly better.

Tom said this is no secret- secret is only how the Olympus relation works out. But take my bet for it, that the future Celutions will be "made in USA".

For the tech-guys amongst us- its based on a discovery that a Cytori-scientist made in respect of the CellGraft technology (which project was dumped >1 year ago)- apparently now a pellet of clinical grade cells can be nicely seperated from the supernate by a process originally designed for CellGraft in the centrifuging process.

Nice stuff- think about it- almost giving away the next generation Celution for free- would ceratinly help spreading the tech around the globe in each and every hospital.

Dont you think? :woohoo:

Board moderator and Site-owner. I still regret the day I started analysing the prospects of MacroPore (now Cytori) back in 2004- a left-over from the tech-bubble at that time from the century change in my portfolio- and became addicted to Cytori´s fat cell technology.
