Seems the FDA isn't happy with most new cellular technology as last night it came out they were halting a trial (which hadn't even started yet) from CRSP as they came up with some additional questions. For those that remember I posted a link about the gene editing tech they use some time ago.
Proves (again) how little our professional scientists know about the bio-mechanics of the human body and what can of worms they are opening now without knowing its consequences. It was the same when, what was it?, 20-30 years ago, they started studying embryonic SC´s, only to discover after billions of $ invested, that they cannot control "nature" and all kinds of anomalities were the results.
Presently conventional medicine is based on surrogate markers from the 70-ties which have never been scientifically proven. Present BASIC science is ignored in the interest of BP and the food industry. You may claim CCT having failed- I still consider it the only safe and proven technology if you ignore the placebo effect. And that, placebo effect, in itself is a whole can of neurological worms again.
Board moderator and Site-owner. I still regret the day I started analysing the prospects of MacroPore (now Cytori) back in 2004- a left-over from the tech-bubble at that time from the century change in my portfolio- and became addicted to Cytori´s fat cell technology.
